Unfortunately, "tax and spend" is exactly what's wrong, whether it's in
the "tax and spend" or the "debt and spend" flavor. I completely agree
that having a balanced budget should be one of the paramount
considerations used to determine whether our government is doing a good
job or not.
Sadly, your comment simply highlites your complete and total devotion to
one party over the other. In my opinion, you've decided that "this is
good" and "that is bad", so you continue to support your decision by any
means necessary, with sarcastic condemnation for anyone with an opposing
viewpoint. On top of it, you mask this behavior in a thin veil of
objectivity, that anyone who's read 1/3 of your posts and has an open
mind doesn't believe. On some occasions, you "want more facts", but when
facts are presented, you change your attack angle. You asked for one
left-wing liar, and were presented with Bill Clinton, so you then rebut
with the fact that he didn't really "lie", but just used a perfectly
acceptable loophole AND that they shouldn't even be asking the question!!!

...in either party, which is why I refuse to support either of them,
even if it means throwing my vote away. I feel that we have reached a
point where only real idealism can save us. This constant bantering
between conservatives and liberals has reached a level of banality that
simply should not be tolerated by the American public.
