It's not just Bush, do you not remember the French boycotting McDonalds when
Clinton was in office because they did not want the "western influence?" I
can probably find the article if I felt it was important enough.

Frankly, I think the rest of the world really just hate us because we are
the super-power. I mean if you really think about it. They hate that they
have to learn English, they hate they have to deal with American companies.
Yet they are all clamoring to be able to sell to the American people.

I have the unenviable task of working with the Siemens corporation on an
agreement our school has made with them. They despise us, but they know they
cannot enter the market place without us. They do not necessarily hate Bush,
they simply hate America.

I will say that the attack on Iraq has caused a lot of these problems. There
is no argument I or anyone else can make that can change that. They hate us
because they think we are the world's polluters, the world's rapers. In
reality there are many other countries that are just as bad if not worse.

Why do they hate us? Good question, I think the reasons are beyond who is
President right now.
