I didn't think the USSR was tiny though. I could be wrong, but if they were so
tiny and it was so insignificant why did we go to all the trouble of funding
the 'cold war' in the first place? And why all the 'duck and cover' drills?
Not to mention all the small countries that broke off from the USSR when it
broke up, in my opinion it wasn't tiny.
As far as the isolation thing - sorry I missed what it was in response to.
As far as france is concerned, no, I don't *think* they're harboring or
funding any terrorist organizations to my knowledge. I think france just does
not want to shake things up. Perhaps they're benefiting from the current set
up, perhaps they are funding / benefiting from a terrorist group ( probably
not ), as to why france didn't fight that doesn't matter. It's why we as a
country stand up and fight and shake things up. The last time we attacked a
country? Hmm...I would probably say that would have been Desert Storm. When
we forced Iraq out of Kuwait. Before that, probably Vietnam/Korea.
