Well.. anyone that doesn't wait for a check to clear before giving a
product in return is pretty clueless anyway so I couldn't feel to bad
for such people. Who doesn't learn that as a kid? I'm still always
surprised by people who expect you to send goods out to them immediately
for a check though. Lots of whining about why do they have to wait 10
business days. Of course it's exactly that need to wait to see if the
check clears that makes me think checks are a stupid way to shop. Not
that credit cards are much better.

We definately need a better digital commerce system for a digital
economy. To bad so many people had crappy ideas of how digital cash
should work and pretty much ruined the concept for a decade or so. All
people running with some silly pie in the sky idea of what digital money
should be rather than addressing the issues of what would actually be
useful to individuals and merchants.
