OK, so disable or forward-to-vmail incoming calls and don't ever make
outgoing calls.  Think of it as a data device (SMS/e-mail, maybe web
browser, maybe other functions if you get a Treo, Sidekick or other
smartphone).

I find it surreal that anyone would pay for a watch, even one with
blinkenlights or USB memory or whatever.
