I'm not Pro-Life. I'm Pro-Responsibility.
There is really a very simple line of logic that allows one to oppose
abortion and support the death penalty, and it flows right along with
what I've said in past posts about accepting the consequences of your
actions. It's not about the sanctity of life, but the sanctity of
*personal responsibility*.
The scumbag who fries after murdering a family is suffering the
consequences of his actions, as is the girl who has to adopt out or
raise the illegitimate child she had because she was too negligent to
use proper birth control or abstinence.
Making another person (even an unborn one) take the fall for someone
else's actions is one of the most cowardly, selfish, and outright mean
things in the world.
