Actually Brent you are wrong.

What the birth control pill does, according to my wife, is it keeps the egg
from attaching itself to the uterus. The egg might become fertilized, but it
is passed during the menstrual cycle. The hormones of the pill cause this.
So yes the egg is actually an embryo when it is passed.

As I understand it, most birth-control pills prevent the egg from being
fertilized in the first place. I understood only "morning after" pills
terminated a fertilized egg. But yes, if the egg is fertilized I believe
there
is life. Terminating that life fits my definition for murder.

That said, those are my beliefs. As for public policy . . . I'm comfortable
banning PBAs after the fetus is considered viable. I believe this is where
science can agree life begins. Prior to that I'm not comfortable imposing my
religious beliefs (life at conception) on others - I will trust God to
handle
those cases.

I happen to believe that case of danger to the mothers life or extreme
illness
in the fetus is up to the doctor - as you said before - doctors make
life/death
decisions every day - let them do their job.
