It was kind of violent. Doc Oc really likes to throw people around. And
then there's the chain saw thing. The implied violence might scare an 8
yr old. Other than that, they should enjoy it.

I can't think of any extreme use of violence, sex, nudity, or language 
in the entire film. It had violence but not the kind I'd hesitate to let

children watch. It wasn't gore. I'd say the limited violence of this 
movie would be of a healthy nature to introduce kids to. You might not 
want them watching spines ripped out and virgins sacrificed but I doubt 
you want them to have no idea violence exists either.
