I don't know about that, evidently my step-daughter is buying a new
Chevy pickup from the Jeff City dealer?? They shopped in Sedalia which
proved to be a joke as it was with us. We bought our Chevy in Linn, 2nd
one there. We didn't get such a good deal on the 2nd one but it was
what we wanted and not what was on special.
The Mitsubishi dealer in Sedalia is going to have a very angry customer
someday soon, it's good to know there are some reliable ones around.
They put in a new timing belt, supposed to improve the starting, left
timing belt cover off, starting was worse. I drove it though and it
started surging, 6 inches of new snow on a lake road in a sports car
that's a standard and guess what happened?? Really haven't driven it
much since for various reasons, it had extended warranty but it's over
now. They put a spoiler on and left the other back brake light in rear
window, spoiler covers it, redundant, kept falling off, hubby finally
took it off. Car has leaked @ various times. All minor things but
added together make an extreme annoyance, plus they left screws loose in
back and what passes for a headliner in a hatchback. rattle rattle.
Surging problem evidently caused the synchronization to go out of second
gear, you either don't use it or pause twice as long before trying to
shift into it.
sorry about rant.
Chevy dealer in Linn is OK.
