I heard the director on NPR. He said that nearly all of it was pure
fiction. He wouldn't even call it science fiction.
I'm in the frozen tundra here in Minneapolis, so it didn't occur to me
right away, but the real reason they have made this movie is that people
will enjoy escaping into a chilled theater on a blazingly hot day to watch
people struggling with extreme cold. It makes ya feel good!
