Hear hear. That sounds like about when I broke int the linux scene.
Circa 1995 on a 486 33MHz with a whopping 8MB RAM. A full slackware
distribution cost you about 54 floppy disks and X was painfull to run on
such a beast.
Yes, in those men were men and you computed your own modelines. Geez
did it ever suck.
I'm not an old geezer, but you kids don't know how good you have it
these days :)
