[MLUG - DISCUSSION] Treo 600's in Columbia

I'm interested in a Treo 600 from Cingular, but am wondering how the 
reception is for these phones around Columbia.  I currently have a Nokia 
3600 and am happy with connection quality (for an internal-antenna 
phone), but even some phones with external antennas perform badly. 
Yeah, I know, it mostly depends on where you are, but general 
observations would be very beneficial to me.  Especially before dropping 
$$ for a Treo... Anyone ever taken a phone from a local store on a trial 
basis?  Do they do that?

If anyone has a 600, or knows someone who would be willing to give me 
some info about how their phone works here in town, can you please drop
