I didn't say I agreed with it. It seams like the papers are
sensationalizing the whole issue by saying it's named for his daughter.
The problem I saw with this logic is that although it is his daughters
middle name, it is the name of his company. What really gets me is the
rest of the concessions they gave him for a building they really didn't
even need in the first place. Hearnes is a really nice building,
especially compared to the other schools in the big 12. That's just my
personal opinion, though. No telling how this whole mess is going to end
out. Just seams that most of the fans are being alienated over the whole
mess. It will be interesting to see if this affects turnout next spring.

It was still very tacky to name it after your 22 year old daughter who
didn't attend MU. It might in a roundabout way be named after his
company but that's not what all the press releases said.

Also next time the university names a 75 million dollar building they
might want to think about reserving the domain name before they issue
the press release.

Yeah, but that's not Wal-Mart, that's the people who made money off of
Wal-Mart. And I think that the reason they want to name it after their
daughter is also because that's the name of his sports/entertainment
franchise.
