Is Evolution GPL'd? Open source? I looked on the Ximian web pages, and
searched them via Google, but I didn't find the licensing info!
I have been using the calendar to store appointments and to e-mail
reminders to me. Nothing too fancy. I want to sync my palm device with
the calendar.
It looks like Evolution will do what I need, and more. We also have
something here called MeetingMaker that will run on Linux and it does many
of the same things. Our department has adopted it and I could get into
using it, but it isn't open source:

MeetingMaker's client program runs on many OSs, so it is good for our
large group of users.
I'm definitely going to check out Evolution.
