- Thread-topic: [MLUG - DISCUSSION] southpark speaks the truth
Regardless of whether it's a binding legal document or not, the
Declaration of Independence still represents the ideas upon which our
country was founded, and the basis upon which it exists today. Saying
that it's not a legal document is just semantics, splitting hairs - not
seeing the forest for the trees. It's a document that still represents
the idea that tyranny will not be tolerated and outlines the idea that
government is made by and for the people.
