I saw his interview with Diane Sawyer. He was trying to make a movie that
was as accurate of a portrayal of the events as they really happened
(according to the Bible) as he could make it. I don't think he wanted to
convert anyone or do anything else - just show it like it was (in his
view). He probably expected to make some money, but he *said* he didn't
really care about that either.
