Alas, it's the North 9th street location (hope they have a decent
bike rack in front), but the new Osama's will have the same coffee,
food, and wireless internet. Plus what I think are better hours
(6:30 AM - midnight x 7 days) and will be a *smoke-free*
establishment. Yee hah!

In addition, the storefront that used to be Lamb's Jewelry will be
reborn this spring as "The Coffee Can". More food than coffee is
planned, but I'm skeptical about their prospects since they are
right next to Lakota and kitty corner from the Artisan.
And, lastly, there was an article in the Times over the weekend
about the expansion of low-cost airlines that mentioned how they
were beginning to seek out markets they could service with smaller
(< 100 person) jets. So there might yet be hope for our regional
airport.
