Yup. When I had to go to Vicksburg, MS (don't ask why), my choices were
either Monroe or Jackson. That whole area is in the middle of nowhere.
The only way to get to Monroe is to transfer through Memphis on
Northwest, then you have to fly a little puddle jumper to get there.
What a PITA! I flew into Jackson since I could get my AAdvantge miles
doing it that way. On the way back, I got to see what flying right
through a thunderstorm feels like on a RJ45 regional jet. Joy!
