That would be unfortunate. Now, I don't think the Southwest people
actually *don't* want Springfield in there. They want to be *the*
Missouri State, which was part of the issue. Actually, if this
happens and if the UM system actually does absorb NWMSU, the only
directional state colleges we'll have left will be Central and
Southeastern. I guess that seems like progress.
