So where did that story appear?  It wasn't in the afternoon paper, 
although I did just find this:

So Senator Ken Jacob strikes a pretty mean deal:  SMSU can call 
itself "Missouri State", while the U. of M gets $190 million in 
bonds to construct life sciences facility PLUS MU gets permission to 
lease its land for that hotel/convention center thingie.

Pretty wild stuff...
