I also listen to both, and pick a middle of the road.. they are both
biased, and somewhere else is the truth. I also used to balance KMFC in
with that before fox and TheEagle were around.... of course there was
never much news, and they had lunatics like Penna Dexter and Kirby
Anderson and such who are ready to embrace every single conspiracy
theorist nut that called in, even if it contradicted the conspiracy they
had embraced on the program the night before.
But regarding the intellectual elite. BS. Its pseudo-intellectualism
and it's endemic to academia. The only ones who considers them to be
intellectuals are themselves, and the rest of the world sniggers behind
their hands and thinks... "whatever". NPR is just full of itself.
Just like Rush is full of himself. Apples and oranges, but all fruit.
