I find it interesting that people would expect there to *be* such a 
thing as an objective political commentator.  I have no idea how 
that is really supposed to work.  Unless what "objective" means in 
this context is "does not tell blatant lies".

So, for my money, you do a lot better with people who make no
attempt to be objective and wear that on their sleeve.  They tend to 
be more interesting, and, these days, usually seem to try to be 
funny.  Jon Stewart of the Daily Show can be incredibly funny at 
times and does a lot of political material.  His personal biases are 
completely obvious, but the running story on the Democratic 
Primaries is called the "Race From the White House", and I really 
don't see him holding back there.
