A lot of people do believe this BS. Common sense never has been very common, and thinking isn't the strongpoint of the masses.

I'm not saying he could or should be sued, just that this was indeed slander. Given how all the Democratic frontrunner can do right now is complain about how Bush is handling the war, and his fellow liberals are spewing as much BS like this as they can, I'm left with no choice but to vote for Bush. I've either got someone controversial but who did something beneficial (dethroned Saddam, repair), or I've got a Democrat whose own policy is apparently less important to him than berating his opponents.
