Half-days are a bit of a scam, but are a work around for the "heat
days" they would otherwise have. At my kids' school (Russell
Elementary) you can imagine having class when the classrooms are
below 90, but in the afternoons when some classrooms top 100, you're
just done. Hence a half-ish day. As it turns out, it counts "full"
if you have lunch. That's doofy...

Uh...but you aren't a parent or a product of CPS? You mean just to
be a rabble rouser? What I might need help with is getting the
consistency of the tar right; the feathers are pretty easy.
