I enjoy exploiting this effect in myself... I find some music I don't
particularly care for, then I listen repeatedly until I 'get it'. Last
month it was Flatt & Scruggs, this month it's Indonesian dangdut.

Nobody will share a car ride with me, but I'm expanding my horizons
musically. And ocassionally find some music that I can't imagine living
without (e.g. Fela Kuti).

Some music is just obnoxious and I can never enjoy it. But I prefer to
talk about music I enjoy, so I'll let that rest.

Regards,
Mark
