It starts Wednesday the 17th, but I'm wondering what y'alls take on it so far has been. I've been mostly pleased with it, and even though I would love to have seen Tom Bombadil make an appearance, I understand that it isn't possible in a movie limited to 3 hours. :-)

Also, do you think they'll be making The Hobbit into a movie as a followup? They've already made a video game of it in the same style as this trillogy's video games.
