Hello all,
I'd like to sell my SGI 330 Visual Workstation...but I want it to go to a
loving home. My reason for parting with this beautiful piece of PC
craftsmanship is because I want a brand-spanking new notebook and I simply
can't afford to buy one outright. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't give
this box up. But, sacrifices must be made sometimes.
If anyone is interested, let me know off-list and we'll discuss price. I
have a specific asking price, but it will be negotiable. Remember, though,
this isn't your parents box...so, it's not priced like it.
:)

Here's the rundown:
Dual 800 Pentium 3(s)
768 MB RAM
18 GB SCSI Drive (Master)
40 GB IDE Ultra ATA 160 (Slave)
64MB Geforce 4 (Graphics Card)
Internal CD-RW
Floppy
SGI Keyboard/Mouse
Polk-Audio Stereo Speakers
19" SGI Monitor
Round/illuminated "modded" Drive Cables (one glows red, the other blue)
on board 10/100 NIC.
Looks exactly like this: http://www.linux-mag.com/2001-03/img/reviews_04.gif
Blue/Dark Gray case with orange/white branding and black drive bay fronts,
Blue monitor and Blue keyboard/mouse. (note: the new CD-RW is white
unfortunately)
It came bundled with Windows NT 4.0 (which I will gladly hand over with
it), but has been running Windows XP and Gentoo Linux like a charm. It
has also had Windows 2K, Red Hat and ArchLinux on it without incident. In
order to run XP, I had to upgrade the BIOS on it.
