>A) What geek gift would you ask for from your parents and grandparents, you know they usually spend ~$100 on your "main" gift. I'd like something geeky-cool but I don't have any ideas as of yet and they usually want to know thanksgiving.

-Nice pair of headphones, such as Sennheiser
-Multi-tool such as Leatherman, Swiss Army knife, etc.
-USB flash drive - or, seen at ThinkGeek, the USB flash WATCH
-A good toolkit, including cordless screwdriver, bendy light, etc.
-Yugoslavian SKS (sorry - I always want guns and that's the only one
that I can think of < $100...too bad it sucks, lol)
>B) What do you get your fiancé for Christmas? Saving money for a nice wedding and honeymoon so I want to spend less than $300 on her gift.
>She dosnt want jewelry and I am not good at buying clothes and don't want to get her "mom" type gifts (vacuum, pots pans, etc).

In my opinion, you should be able to make a woman happy for waaaay less
than $300. Two years ago, I got off really cheap but won enormous
amounts of brownie points - I made my then-girlfriend (now wife) a
teddybear. And not one of those cheezy mall-stuffed-animal-place bears,
either...I busted out the sewing machine and stitched 'er one right up.
It wasn't perfect, but the little imperfections added a little
"personality" :)
Actually, if you are good with your hands (get your mind out of the
gutter!), making something isn't really a bad route. Easy on the
pocketbook most of the time, and BIG on the thoughtfulness. If you like
woodworking, maybe something like a simple jewlerybox. The options are
endless.
Alternatively, you can do a nice "theme" gift. In the past, I've done
things like the "warm" gift, where I put together some bath stuff,
candles, fuzzy-pajamas, scarf and gloves, etc. Again, if you do it
right pretty decent in the "thougtfulness" department. Or if she's into
this sort of thing you can do something like a "memory" gift, where you
get a bunch of scrapbooking stuff, maybe an inexpensive digital camera,
etc. (Speaking of which - Circuit City recently had a sale on an HP 3
megapixel digcam and one of their 6-color ink photo printers. After
rebates etc., the total came to $250!)
Women also like stuff that goes along with doing things together. So,
maybe you decide you want to start getting outside together more
often....get a set of tennis rackets. Or you could get tickets to a
show at the Fox Theatre, reservations at a nice restaurant, and a night
at the Adams Mark in St. Louis. Lots of options, depending on what
she's into.
Hope that helps :)
