[MLUG - DISCUSSION] Postgresql 7.4 is out today

While mucking around with various things, I discovered that my 
Postgresql is now out of date.  7.4 was released today:

   http://www.postgresql.com/

Looks like they're really getting pretty serious these days.  Stuff 
I noticed included:

   Function-inlining for simple SQL functions 
   Major improvements in SSL performance and reliability 
   SQL-standard information schema 
   New version of full-text indexing 
   New autovacuum tool 
   Array handling has been improved and moved into the server core 

...plus the usual efficiency gains and optimization and stuff.  In 
any case, every bar that gets raised in the Open Source database 
world inevitably makes things better and cheaper everywhere else.
