My call is kc0mnn, licenses are a 10 (may be 12 now) dollar sitting fee for the
tests and you can gain all privileges in one testing if you feel like
memorizing all three tests.

NO, the opensource movent is riding the back of the free software movement
which distinctly has an elitist attitude, and should. _Hackers_ by Steven Levy
documents the culture that produced the world we live in, it was not and is not
everyone is free to contribute his $.02. But one is required to support that
opinion. The vast majority of the internet is blind affirmation with no proof
whatsoever! (wait for it :)) You may also wanna read accidental empires,
dealers of lightning, and nerds 2.0 befor you accept the internet was founded
on 'freedom'. It was built by the miilitary.

I am not Microsoft nor Lowes, I am free to do just about anything I want with
my radio. But, if I break the rules I will be responsible for it.

licensing is accountability. There are those that still drive on revoked
licenses. But, as my friend that recently spent a couple of nights in jail and
a good part of a few grand in court costs found out, it is cheaper to take the bus.
