Meaning the "smart router" has to be excessively smart, smarter than nearly all other devices on the network. Sounds like SGI will get a head start in that market. ;-)
Still, thats the expensive and unweildy solution, I think the solution still comes back to end-users, as Jim said, starting to use their brains. Irresponsibility is the root of much evil.
