That sure used to be true, but I'm wondering if it can continue.
The G5 was a pretty massive step forward, so your 4-year-old G4
probably feels a lot older than than the 8-year-old Mac did 4 years
ago. On the other hand, a 4-year-old iMac still does what it always
did just as well, and the price floor for those does seem
surprisingly high. He says, as he plots to sell some old hardware
to upgrade the household situation...
