I think it's another symptom in the already severe case of "It's not
*my* fault" that our culture seems to be gravitating towards. It's
getting really tiring to see everyone trying to avoid taking
responsibility for their actions, even be it not undating your OS so a
hacker won't hijack your computer.
I hope it doesn't fly. If people realize they may be taken to court if
they don't protect themselves maybe they'll get off their chairs and
learn something about their computers. <sigh> Probably not though.
