Thats a brilliant workaround and gets you away from the crappy excuse for software that is Adobe Acrobat Writer/Distiller. That POS has corrupted again on my work computer. I do have to ask, though, what format equivalent do you get out of that? I must admit that I've never created PDF's using ghostscript, if I want PDF's, I'm usually already stuck using Windows. I did create PDFs using Perl a few times, but that was very rudimentary and using a module that I didn't completely grok.
