You can get a Dreamcast keyboard and mouse off eBay for pretty cheap. The
only real downside for the DC being an onboard PC is that, unless someone
hacked it out, there's no onboard hard drive. If you could find a way to
use the memory port on the back of a controller for a lot of memory, that
could work.
You might be better off with a PS2 and a Linux kit for it, which gives you
an ethernet adapter, hard drive, and Linux. Just a thought.
