Nothing made for the average schmoo works for the average schmoo. What 'for the average schmoo' developers fail to account for is that the average schmoo still thinks its funny to call up a random stranger and ask if their refrigerator is running.

Only when MS or someone like them comes along and makes something for the complete idiots does it catch on with the average schmoo.

Seriously though, there used to be a mistique about HTML developers. Its going away rapidly, and is already long gone for most of us in the computer industry.

Keep in mind, they are going to India for the same reason Martha Stewart's line of clothes were made in China. At least they have to reasonably air condition a room for computers, so it won't literally be a sweat shop.
