Partition magic is all well in good if you can afford the software. and is kidn of stupid to but PM if you are only going to use it if or 1 minute of your life. Sorry, but Dell doesn't come pre partitioned for linux with the install of XP.
qtpartition worked just fine booting from the knoppix cd. :D
