This is true. There should be separate "meetings" and "social" events.
The social events should probably be held someplace where people under
21 can enter (it is at Mizzou, after all) and people over 21 can enjoy
a tasty beverage of their choice should they want. Perhaps there was
some confusion over social events. I can think of tons of places in
COU that are friendly to both tasty beveraging or teatotaling. The
places that aren't are really no good for a social gathering of people
who want to talk, anyway.

I'm married. To another nerd, for that matter. However, I'm 2 hours away
from COU, so MLUG meetings are a bit of a stretch for me. Perhaps I can
try to find some presentations about the Altix boxes and try to give
a presentation sometime. Even better yet would be a nice social gathering
at the Flat Branch afterwards. :)
