You don't realize how strong many of the Belgian beers are until you try to
stand up. My wife and I were able to get moderately schnackered at the
't Brugs Bierjirie (that's the 300 beers place) for 20 Euros total. So,
for 10 a piece, that's not too bad.
As a disclaimer, the only reason we ended up even slightly stumbly (Bruges
is a wonderfully small town who's only real hazzard walking back at night is
tripping over the wrong curb and accidentally taking a swim in a small
canal) is because we were trying to sample as many beers as possible. Then
there were those British guys who were regulars and kept making more
recommendations.
In any event, if you like beer, you'll love Belgium. :)
