Is it secret what sort of software it is? Just curious. Was it custom
programmed for them or off the shelf? My favorite example was a point of
sale app that stored all product information, sales records, etc for a
company I worked for. It was sort of a customized off the shelf product.
It was very funny to me when the news came in that they could never
upgrade because the company that sold them the software evidently kept the
source code and all backups on a single server that had had a total disk
failure.
