That's all fine and dandy, but lets talk about backwards compatibility.
I am unable to quote the source at the moment, possibly ZDnet, but they
claim that in initial tests, that around 90% of old DOS programs failed to
run on the 2003 machine. Word is that they are attempting to get folks off
of the old NT4 platforms and into the new 2003 platforms.
But this in my opinion, is a shady way to conduct business.
At this stage, I don't think that *nix has much to worry about.
