Historically, hasn't it always worked that way?  Heck, my dad was 6'2"
tall.  His mom was 4'9" and his dad was 5'6" or so...but they *were*
Lithuanian, so the genes were there, just not the enriched environment.
(Similarly, they were both illiterate peasant types, and he was a 
mechanical engineer).

We'll have to see.  I'm willing to bet they will have fewer kids than 
previous generations that came into California and Texas primarily.
