I think thats a key point, but also keep in mind what defines poverty. Poverty level in the US is anyone making less than 18,000 per year, IIRC. What is the poverty level for the rest of those countries? Their poor can't afford food for their children, our poor can't afford the latest Pokemon game for their children. Now, if you show me a rate of starvation in countries, and our numbers are that high, then I'll worry.

It's percentages, there are more people working in an average Hungarian restraunt than live in Canada ;-)
