Setting the archives to members only viewing would defeat the learning and
educating purpose those archives were designed for. I know in the past when
I have done web searches pertaining to certain Linux aspects, mlug archives
have come up. It seems to me that closing the archives defeats the 'open
source' feeling.
I feel like Dennis Miller on a rant....

My suggestion would be to make the list set for members only posting and
the archives set to members only viewing :)
Only takes two clicks in mailman to set up.
