[MLUG - DISCUSSION] how to pick best CD-R and CD-RW media

I need to purchase some CD-R media and some CD-RW media.  I'm only
interested in comparing CD-Rs with other CD-Rs and CD-RWs with other
CD-RWs.

How do the different products differ in quality?  Does the color of the
disk matter (e.g., blue?).  Are there any web sites that report on a
systematic comparison of the different products?  Are some manufacturers
more reliable?
