If the boss suddenly decides it needs to be secret? yes. It means he/she's
either an idiot, or nuts.

Well, as they say, its only illegal if the cops care enough to catch you.
People get fired for that all the time from businesses that care. Those with
bosses like you tend not to be very big, or very permanent, but are often
the best places to find rare parts for old PC's :-)
