This registered high on my hackability scale so I thought I'd share..
On iDot.com they are selling an adapter to let your computer use flash
memory cards. The main difference between this and most that I'd seen is
this one interfaces to the computer as an IDE hdd so that it works with
any OS and is bootable. Pretty nice for lots of projects that might need a
silent, low power, and hard to break drive. Good if you have some old
digital camera memory or such that isn't in use. The drive itself is $39.
Their price for flash memory is a bit steep but that's why we have EBay.
