A question in return. Do you find the multi-disc feature useful? I
currently am using my gaming console as a DVD player, but now that
I've graduated I might try to upgrade a bit.

A friend of mine used to work at Circuit City and he said the only receiver
he would buy from there was Onkyo. This takes into account quality, longevity,
and realibility. But that was more his opinion than anything. Secondly, when
HDTVs finally are settled down into a standard they will be coming with a
DVI input. Now component is great, but probably will be nothing compared with
DVI. So maybe at that time, it will be worth it to upgrade the DVD player to
something with DVI. Therefore the component switching in the receiver wouldn't
be as big a deal.
