All the scripts I've looked at for inspiration and the irc folks I asked
approached the problem in such a way my code was 300+ lines per page. That
sucks so am trying to clean it up. I have an idea how to do it in 3-4
lines so never mind. Just had to get some sleep to figure it out. :)

Not my choice to use mp3's but there is nothing wrong with the idea. You
can downsample the mp3's as much as desired to make them low-bandwidth
enough. The mp3's are used to select the music to add to your custom made
dvd and originates from wav files so using midi would really be a sucky
answer.
