Thanks for letting me know... A friend gave me an older hp printer that I
might be able to salvage from.  It still prints, but the heads are
mis-aligned or something.  We didn't want to sink $50 for a new print head
that may or may not have fixed it.

Guys don't throw away your old printers...  they are a great robot stuck in
a
printers shell... there are as many as 6 bi-polar stepper motors in the
average ink jet printer along with all kinds of great positional circuts and
reduction gears...  Heck I harvested several steppers out of an old lexmark
that have 0.5 degree resolution per step...  a basic stamp or a PIC and
blamo
you have bots to do the chores for you...

PS. if any of you need schematics for steppers or bot help let me know...
